I know, the review is a few days late. I've been pretty out of it the last few days so forgive me, but to make up for it I'll do two chapter review in one day! Anyways, back to the chapter at hand- One Piece 603, and it was pretty good overall as the start of a new arc. It's good to see the good old Luffy and Zorro comedic stupidity again not once but twice in the same chapter, and it's also good to get a sweet sexy half body shot of the new Nami, her new character design is by far the best one out of the entire crew, even more epic than Cyborg Franky. Of course, we get to see Sanji's excessive nosebleed again after spending two years with nothing but men, frankly I'm kind of getting tired of seeing this joke already after the first three times, hopefully Oda will drop this before it gets completely stale.
Now onto the twist of the chapter, it's kind of shocking to see Kuma defend the ship, definitely wasn't expecting that. I mean, it was bro-tastic that he chose to split the Strawhats up for their own safety, but to defend their ship until their return? That puts him in the same league as Kyosuke from OreImo for true bro of the season! In addition, the strawhat that Luffy's wearing actually belongs to Rogers! That is a bit cliche but nonetheless awesome, the little fanboy inside of me was screaming in joy as Rayleigh reminiscent about the past. Finally, we get to see the faces of the next vict....enemies, and I'm not even sure if they will post much of a fight other than to serve as another display of how much Luffy and co. has grown these past two years, maybe we might even see Chopper solo these scrubs. (haha)
