Tenchou's journal #8- Start of a new journey.

Just a small update, because well, that's all I have time for. My novel is currently out on queries with several agents, got back three form rejections so far, nothing big. Starting tomorrow however, I will be journeying to the world of awesomeness in the Star War Universe. Jumping from my fictional world in my novel to George Lucas' world means I will have very little free time for awhile. I will (I promise) post some screenshots of my character progression, as well as some small tips or interesting findings from time to time.

Stay classy readers, and if you are playing SWTOR as well, I will likely be on Anchorhead (PvP East), and I will post my IGN and confirm server after I make my character.

Tenchou's journal #4- Still hauling along

This week will be short. Firstly, I don't have too much to say this week. Second, I'm watching the GSL Oct finals as I type this. You should definitely check it out if you are a SC2 fan. My inner nerdiness is bursting out like no other, but hell, I really don't care at the moment.

Also, if you have not heard, Blizzcon is where Foo Fighters will be playing next, tomorrow! I bought a Virtual Ticket for Blizzcon just for this (and GSL finals), so hell yes I am going to enjoy this!

I have some anime updates...but I'll wait till tomorrow to update this. Go watch GSL nao!

Nerd Alert Strikes again!

This actually happened yesterday after an awesome set of runs with Aegina on East server, but I was too tired to resize the image last night.

Oh My God it's done!

Finally finished my first set of armor in the new patch, the Southern Winter Set for my Kirini. I have to say...this set isn't all that bad looking without the helm, and the stats is pretty good compared to my old armor. Anyways I'm just dumping materials on the market now since I'm done, and I'll take a small break before I tackle the good set of armor from this patch, the Temptress set.

A little bit of advertising~ SOLD

I'm trying to sell my Rose Drop Beret (Black) on Vindictus East Server, so if anyone here plays the game and wants to look as pretty as my Evie, drop me a mail in-game or leave a message or post here.

On another note, one week till we get Episode five and all the goodies that come along with it! I hope everyone is farming or done farming the mats for their next set! (I'm still missing like...60ish superior cloth, sigh -_-)

New 'Nerd Alert' Song

So...Husky decided to team up with Kurt again to come up with another SC2 song. Personally I think this is not as good as 'Banelings'; the score was a bit dull, and a little too repetitive. It wasn't bad though so take a listen:

GSL 3!

I've been trying to find the summary of games for GSL 3 finals, something like the GSL 2 one. Finally, Teamliquid.net has recently posted one so here's my brief update on the final result (Don't click if you don't want it spoiled).

Behind the scenes of "Banelings"

If you have been following this blog at all, you would know I don't just watch anime and jerk off, I'm also play a bunch of StarCraft 2 and Vindictus. One of the "things" I've been doing with SC2 is follow HDStarcraft and Husky's youtube channel, watching some high level SC2 games and trying to learn the ways of the elite, so far I've had limited success(-_-). In celebration of Husky's 300,000 subscribers he made a music video for SC2, called Banelings, parodying the song Baby from Justin Bieber. The original song blows, but the nerdy side of me really enjoy listening to Banelings, and it was a huge success among the SC2 community with 3.9 million views as of this post. Today he also released the behind the scenes for the video and I thought I would share it here on my blog, and if you have not subscribed to Husky's channel and you are an avid SC2 player, I would suggest you do so as Husky, although not the most knowledgeable or accurate caster, is most definitely the most entertaining one on the interweb at the moment.

Sorry for the delay

She's been taking up most of my time last week.

I haven't really been posting any reviews and such as of late, and it's not because I'm dead or ill. I have been playing some Vindictus lately as Episode 4 just came out, so I've been grinding some levels, skills and armor so I haven't been able to write reviews and such. I have also found out on Friday that I passed the last of the Chartered Accountancy Exam, the UFE. So now I can live free and be a boring accountant! (-_-) On another note, I will be resuming reviews today so expect some updates!

Rose Drop set, on Kirini

Boat 4 has been pretty entertaining, the new armor set, the Rose Drop set, is extremely annoying and expensive to get. But that didn't stop me, after farming for the ores and shells for 3 days I managed to get my set done, now my Evie (Kirini) fights like a champ and also got looks that kills, unstoppable!

GSL Pre-season 2 Results!

Starcraft-fu!!

So...two major tournament took place recent, and while GSL2 has not yet ended (Finals on Nov 13), the MLG-Dallas or MLG Season 2 has finished with LiquidJinro, playing as Terran taking home the grandprize, and TTOne, Protoss, finishing second. Finally a toss finish near the top, it is good to see that again!
