Almost two weeks since my last post! If anyone caught Blizzcon (through stream/live): how awesome was the show? Foo Fighters put up a pretty darn good concert at the end, but the real thriller were the tournaments. Despite some downers (ZvT close rush distance spawns not once but twice? Trololololol), both the GSL finals and the Blizzcon finals certainly delivered. MMA vs MVP showed some really interesting TvT that involved more than just map control leap frogging, and the grand finals had some epic games that I do not wish to spoil here. Even though Sen did not win Blizzcon, he's now definitely one of my favorite with his solid style play (although...he was basically outplayed by MVP...foreigners still have a way to go against these Koreans).
Just like the title stated, I have finally renewed my resolve on polishing my novel. It's been "completed" for almost three months now but I'm still only 40% or so in editing. I can blame the slow progress on my job but ultimately I have slacked off tremendously thanks to both fatigue and boredom (seriously, re-reading your own story over and over again, even if you love it, gets boring). I swear it won't be long before I finish editing, gonna pick up the pace!
Anime wise...I don't have to time to do reviews...but, let me do some quick one-liners:
Mirai Nikki- Still fucking awesome.
Gundam Age- You can call it Gundam Under-age, I call it Deus Ex-Machina, or Gundam Are-You-Fucking-Kidding-Me.
Persona 4- I take back what I said last time, production value had gone way up since first episode!
Ben-To- This show gets better and better, how can a dumb premise like this produce such an awesome show?
Working!!- Not as funny as first season, but still very much enjoyable.
Boku wa Tomodoachi Ga Sukunai- I am loving the fan-service, and a side-dish of plot doesn't hurt.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai- Just as I predicted, mindless ecchi fun with stripped down story, sad panda is sad.
Guilty Crown- Next "best-show-of-the-season" in the making?
Phi Brain- Hating the art, decent story.
Maken Ki- Pointless censoring is a bitch isn't it?
I promise to deliver a more in-depth review mid-season or so...after my editing.
Stay classy, readers!

Tenchou's journal #4- Still hauling along
This week will be short. Firstly, I don't have too much to say this week. Second, I'm watching the GSL Oct finals as I type this. You should definitely check it out if you are a SC2 fan. My inner nerdiness is bursting out like no other, but hell, I really don't care at the moment.
Also, if you have not heard, Blizzcon is where Foo Fighters will be playing next, tomorrow! I bought a Virtual Ticket for Blizzcon just for this (and GSL finals), so hell yes I am going to enjoy this!
I have some anime updates...but I'll wait till tomorrow to update this. Go watch GSL nao!

The following is my summary of the 7-game series between oGsMC and TSLPuma in the Grand Finals of the first season of NASL:
Tenchou's journal #1
I have decided to do some of my general blogging under this format instead of separating them into different post...it just looks cleaner and since I don't have too much to say about each topic, it just make more sense.

Nerd Alert Strikes again!
Here's the third single from our favoured Nerdy Starcraft band Nerd Alert. After watching tonight's game with oGsMC vs FnaticSen, especially game 3, you gotta wonder. Anyways, here it is, Void Rays:

New 'Nerd Alert' Song
So...Husky decided to team up with Kurt again to come up with another SC2 song. Personally I think this is not as good as 'Banelings'; the score was a bit dull, and a little too repetitive. It wasn't bad though so take a listen:

GSL 3!
I've been trying to find the summary of games for GSL 3 finals, something like the GSL 2 one. Finally, Teamliquid.net has recently posted one so here's my brief update on the final result (Don't click if you don't want it spoiled).

Behind the scenes of "Banelings"
If you have been following this blog at all, you would know I don't just watch anime and jerk off, I'm also play a bunch of StarCraft 2 and Vindictus. One of the "things" I've been doing with SC2 is follow HDStarcraft and Husky's youtube channel, watching some high level SC2 games and trying to learn the ways of the elite, so far I've had limited success(-_-). In celebration of Husky's 300,000 subscribers he made a music video for SC2, called Banelings, parodying the song Baby from Justin Bieber. The original song blows, but the nerdy side of me really enjoy listening to Banelings, and it was a huge success among the SC2 community with 3.9 million views as of this post. Today he also released the behind the scenes for the video and I thought I would share it here on my blog, and if you have not subscribed to Husky's channel and you are an avid SC2 player, I would suggest you do so as Husky, although not the most knowledgeable or accurate caster, is most definitely the most entertaining one on the interweb at the moment.

Starcraft-fu!!
So...two major tournament took place recent, and while GSL2 has not yet ended (Finals on Nov 13), the MLG-Dallas or MLG Season 2 has finished with LiquidJinro, playing as Terran taking home the grandprize, and TTOne, Protoss, finishing second. Finally a toss finish near the top, it is good to see that again!
